Moody florals and runner shorts

Top: Dorothy Perkins, Shorts: Select, Sandals: Dorothy Perkins, Necklace: Monki.

I like to live life on the edge, and by that I mean, I ate an ice cream in my outfit before taking pictures for the blog :P This was just a super relaxed look for a walk in the countryside. I've recently fallen in love with track or runner shorts, got my eyes on the denim ones on the market at the moment. My simple grey versions with a cherry motif are REALLY old and in all honesty, I think a darker colour would have worked better. I stumbled across this light cami the other day and its a blessing in this heat wave, plus its really easy to pair with most of my wardrobe. But the real gem was the moody floral footbeds in the sale for only £12, chuffed to bits.

Summer Ball

Dress: AX Paris, Heels: Missguided, Flower crown: ASOS, Bag: River Island, Necklace: Vintage.

The past two years have been some of the hardest and most wonderful, it all ended with my leavers ball at the botanical gardens. What I wore, as you can imagine, took weeks of planning and searching. I eventually settled on a simple LBD, in the most flattering shape being a kick out, which acted as the blank canvas in which to add to. Paired with my beloved metallic chunky heels which stayed bang on trend. Then, my own little twist with a feathered lilac clutch and a flower crown of classic summer colours. Overall, it felt fun and comfortable, the perfect last outfit.

The evening itself was made wonderful by my lovely ladies (pictured below), we've all helped each other through the struggles of A- levels and had plenty of laughs along the way. All looking gorgeous themselves, I think we made quite the stunning group :)

Crops and little pops

Top: H&M, Jeans: H&M, Flats: Topshop, Necklace: River Island, Nail varnish: Rimmel lasting finish Tangy Tangerine (705).

Its officially summer here in Britain, and as much as I love A/W fashion, not having to wear a jacket that ruins your outfit is just fab! Simple and very much built for comfort, acid wash "skinny" jeans rolled up keep it casual, whilst being fitted around the waist to look more 'put together'. This crop top has become a fast favourite, perfect for layering under sheer fabrics, with high waisted skirts or on its own for brave days. I'm always keeping it light when it comes to jewellery, so a single silver pendant necklace to match my obsession with metallic flats works a charm.

I'm back and blogging for good.
